Elementa has opened the Dichotomy Beta Test for Silver Palace. So, people can now check out the upcoming open-world fantasy adventure RPG before launch. Built with Unreal Engine 5, this test is available as a limited PC Windows beta.
It does not include any in-game purchases, and as expected for a beta, every bit of player progress will be wiped once the test comes to an end. In terms of content, you can spend more than 40 hours exploring what’s available.
One of the biggest additions is the arrival of the male protagonist. Yes, you can now choose to play as either a male or female Detective. The lineup has grown to 15 characters in total, including 8 completely new additions introduced specifically for the Silver Palace Dichotomy Beta Test.
Investigations now play a bigger role due to deduction-focused gameplay. Meanwhile, multi-branch quests give players different paths to follow. Character-specific storylines have also been added alongside plenty of extra content throughout the adventure.
What else can you find in the Silver Palace Dichotomy Beta Test?
Exploration with more areas of Silvernia opening up for players to roam. The newly accessible districts are full of hidden treasures, puzzles, interactive objects, and mysterious incidents. There’s even a horse racing activity that lets you speed through the city’s streets.
As for the combat, battles now revolve around carefully timed dodges, parries, stamina management, and building up a stun gauge against enemies. The revised system rewards players looking for a more skill-focused experience.
Silver Palace is set in Silvernia, a city shaped by Silverium-powered technology where futuristic ideas exist alongside Victorian-inspired architecture. The setting leans heavily into contrasts, blending advanced technology with old-world design while placing good and evil, as well as life and death, side by side in an uneasy balance.
