Announced in August 2025, the One Piece Heroines anime has now revealed the release date. Its debut as a single special episode is happening on July 5th, 2026. Keep reading to find out all about it.
The episode will adapt Chapter 1: Nami from the spin-off novel series and will include anime-original developments. And also include, most notably, an additional appearance by Robin that was not part of the original story.
One Piece Heroines anime will air in One Piece’s usual broadcast time slot on July 5th on Fuji TV and its affiliate network. The team shared the announcement on the same day as the celebration of Robin’s birthday.
They also released a teaser visual featuring Nami, Robin, and several other characters from the series. You can see it in our thumbnail for this article. You can also spot the distinct, new art style by Takashi Kojima.
Coming to the key production staff, Haruka Kamatani is directing the One Piece Heroines anime. He previously directed One Piece in Love and the Koisuru One Piece short series. Character designs are by Takashi Kojima, whose past credits include Flip Flappers, The Colors Within, and Monsters: 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation.
In episode: NAMI, the plot follows Nami after she buys a pair of poorly-made shoes that end up hurting her feet. Unhappy with the purchase, she returns to the shop and encounters a designer named Lebno.
He offers to remake the shoes on the condition that Nami takes part in a runway fashion show for him. As events unfold, Nami discovers that the actual person carrying out the repairs is Miucha. While this core storyline comes directly from the novel, the anime version will expand on it with additional scenes, including new material involving Robin.
