Ubisoft’s newest crossover is the Assassin’s Creed Shadows x Attack on Titan collab. You have until December 22nd to dive into the crossover. The event brings a free story quest and optional paid cosmetics. Assassin’s Creed Shadows is playable on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Mac, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version set to launch on December 2nd.
The Attack on Titan anime is an action series that combines horror, drama, and philosophy in its tale of a besieged humanity. Created by Hajime Isayama, the manga follows Eren Jaeger. He’s traumatised when a Colossal Titan destroys his home and kills his mother.
So, he decides to join the Scout Regiment with Mikasa and Armin. He gains the ability to transform into a Titan. The conspiracies related to his power gradually pull the narrative toward political upheaval and the origins of the Titans.
What’s in store in the Assassin’s Creed Shadows x Attack on Titan collab?
Ubisoft has dropped a new trailer for the Assassin’s Creed Shadows x Attack on Titan collab. It shows Naoe and Yasuke heading into the Crystal Cave, triggering the appearance of something massive and hostile waiting in the dark. Watch it here!
The new questline is divided into two missions called Beyond the Walls and The Descent. The reward is a katana with a cosmetic effect. You can secure the blade by unlocking Yasuke, since Beyond the Walls only becomes available once he is part of the roster.
The side quest marker turns up in the Yamashiro region, northeast of Kyoto and east of the Genbu Highlands. Both Naoe and Yasuke can initiate the quests. Fast travelling to Hanazono Castle is the quickest way to reach the quest’s opening scene.
You’ll then come across the bodies of Survey Corps soldiers scattered around the area. Interacting with the soldier positioned beside a boulder kicks off Beyond the Walls. The trail then leads back toward the remains at the Hanazono Castle.
