New details about the theme song for the upcoming anime adaptation of Haibara’s Teenage New Game+ are now available. The series will have its television broadcast in April 2026. The production’s official website and social media accounts confirmed the latest updates on its music.

Here are all the details on Haibara’s Teenage New Game+ theme song

The opening theme song will be Fly Again!! performed by Ami Maeshima, known for contributing the ending theme to My Awkward Senpai. Ami Maeshima described her participation in the opening theme as a joyful opportunity.

She portrayed the song as carrying a hopeful and refreshing tone. The singer explained that the music aims to match the spirit of the series and accompany the characters as the story unfolds.

Meanwhile, the ending theme will be performed by Aimi, recognised for opening and ending songs of TenPuru. In the announcement, the ending theme is introduced as Dramatic Tohiko or Dramatic Escape.

Aimi spoke about the emotional core behind the song’s lyrics, noting that the story’s premise of reliving youth naturally leads to thoughts about past decisions and missed opportunities. The song reflects the perspective of someone looking back on earlier years with a mix of regret, determination, and lingering hope.

Haibara’s Teenage New Game+ is directed by Mizusu Hoshino, with production handled by Studio Comet. He previously worked on Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable!  Series composition is by Keiichiro Ochi, while character designs are by Hiromi Ono.

Haibara’s Teenage New Game+ originates from a Japanese light novel series written by Kazuki Amamiya and illustrated by Gin. The novels first began publication in December 2021 under Hobby Japan’s HJ Bunko light novel imprint.

The story later expanded into manga with a full-coloured vertical adaptation illustrated by Misaomaru. It ran on Hobby Japan’s Comic Fire manga website from June 2023 to August 2024. You can learn about the series on the official website or its X account.
