How to Get Sailor Piece Cosmetic Crates
Cosmetic Crates drop from any NPC or Boss within the game.
This makes them a versatile drop, despite their secret rarity, as you can either farm them with intent or find one by surprise whilst completing other tasks, such as obtaining the latest Melee or Weapon.
That said, they have an incredibly low rate, so if you’re battling bosses, you won’t see the Cosmetic Crate as part of their drop pool, the same as Secret Chests. (Though they definitely do drop from Bosses!)
Anyway, knowing this, there’s actually a way to increase your Cosmetic Crate encounter chance, and it’s not all too difficult to undertake.
How To Do The Quake Method
I’ve spoken about the Quake Method before in my Dark Grail Guide, mainly because this method is a one-size-fits-all, so long as your intended drop hails from NPCs.
The setup for the Quake method requires the Quake Fruit (obtained via Gem or Coin Fruit Dealer at Sailor Island), and a max investment into your Power Stat (refund stats and put 10,000+ into Power).
Travel to Shinjuku Island and stand facing the ocean, close to the set spawn crystal. The goal is to have the C-Move wave gather enough radius to target both NPC clusters on the left and right of where you stand.
This allows for a 10x NPC kill each C-move, as opposed to a 5x cluster kill, which you’d get on other islands. It doubles the chances for drops, making farming for the Cosmetic Crate a little more forgiving.
