JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is getting another mobile game adaptation called Golden Spirit. It will bring material from across the franchise instead of sticking to a single storyline. Adapted from the anime series, it will have real-time battles and strategy systems.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit opened pre-registration

Full release coming sometime in 2026, the game is now open for pre-registration on both the Google Play Store and the App Store. The devs are promising exclusive in-game rewards once testing phases begin.

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Spirit uses a mix of 3D visuals and Live2D animation to recreate scenes and character moments from different parts of the franchise. You’ll also find dramatic camera angles and exaggerated battle animations, just like in the anime.

Even the soundtrack is being treated as a big selling point, with composer Yugo Kanno handling the project. The game will include an original theme song along with several in-game tracks. On that note, take a look at the trailer below.

Battles use a real-time combat system with full 360-degree camera movement and perspective switching during fights. It will offer both PVE and PVP content, with the psychological battle style the JoJo series is known for.

There’s also a formation mechanic with the combat strategy. Characters are placed on multi-tile battle grids, and team positioning changes how encounters play out. Certain arrangements can also trigger special RUSH bursts.

The mobile game is based on the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure manga series created by Hirohiko Araki. It first began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1986. The franchise is still ongoing today, with Part 9, The JOJOLands, beginning serialization in Ultra Jump in March 2023.
