A television anime adaptation of the gambling manga Junket Bank is coming soon. It’s set to air in Japan starting in October 2026. With the release window revealed, the production details and early promotional artwork are also out now.
The project is based on the manga created by Ikko Tanaka, which has been serialised by Shueisha in Weekly Young Jump since July 2020. The series has reached a total of 20 volumes published in Japan to date.

Seiji Kishi will direct the anime version, while animation studio CUE will produce it. The script structure and overall series composition are handled by Makoto Fukami, while Masanori Shino is responsible for character designs. Taku Iwasaki composes the music for the series.
Voice casting for the central characters includes Soma Saito as the voice of Shin Mafutsu aka Akira Shinkeitsu. Meanwhile, Rikuya Yasuda will voice Akira Mitarai. The team has also dropped a new teaser visual as part of the announcement.
What’s the story?
Mitarai is a new employee assigned to Karasu Bank’s central branch. His work routine is uneventful and defined by a constant effort to avoid mistakes, leaving him dissatisfied with the predictability of his daily life.
But then, his situation changes abruptly when he’s ordered to transfer to a department he has never encountered before. It’s the Special Operations Department. It operates a gambling hall in the bank’s basement, transforming the financial institution into the ultimate gambling den.
Within the underground world, Mitarai encounters a mysterious gambler named Shin Mafutsu. He studies the personalities of opponents, exposing their true nature when they’re placed under extreme pressure.
