Announced in October 2025, a new promotional trailer is out for the anime series Marriage Toxin ahead of its premiere. It offers a glimpse at the show’s music, characters, and broadcast plans before the series begins airing on April 7th, 2026.
The latest video for the Marriage Toxin anime reveals the ending theme song Shake Na Baby by AKASAKI. It also features the opening theme Kill or Kiss performed by Yurina Hirate.
The trailer is split into two distinct sections. The first half focuses on fast-paced battle sequences. It introduces a variety of unique characters who become involved in Hikaru Gero’s unusual mission to find a wife, all set to the opening theme song.
The second half shifts tone and uses the newly released ending theme song to highlight more comedic and emotional moments. It includes scenes where Gero reveals his genuine feelings hidden beneath his life as a hitman while interacting with Shirosaki.

The voice cast includes Haruki Ishiya as Hikaru Gero, Shion Wakayama as Mei Kinosaki, Anna Nagase as Kyoko Himekawa, and Mariya Ise as Shizuku Ushio. It also includes Asaki Yuikawa as Shiori Ureshino, Soma Saito as Genya Naruko, and Hinano Shirahama as Kimie Arashiyama.
Motonobu Hori, known for Metallic Rouge, is directing the anime, while Studio Bones is producing it. Series composition is by Kimiko Ueno, and character designs and chief animation direction are by Kohei Tokuoka. Taisei Iwasaki and Yuma Yamaguchi are composing the music.
Before the official broadcast begins, a special program titled Coming Soon Marriage Toxin Anime Production Secret Behind-the-Scenes Special will air on April 5th at 24:55. The program will feature an interview with director Motonobu Hori.
